Meet our Founder
I am a multi-faceted non-linear thinker who consistently seeks balance in every aspect of life. I’m a mother of two, and have a significant other whom I’ve been with for what will be 7 years in 2023. I have two fur babies, one of which is super happy to see people on zoom! I am also a Girl Scout troop leader, Unitarian Universalist, pantheist, sci-fi enthusiast and self proclaimed philosopher. I’m a cheerleader to my friends and family, and I’m a work in progress regarding health (physically, mentally, and financially.) I am extremely passionate about socital changes that benefit everyone.
I am a Best Selling Author with a Masters Degree in leadership and management, but where I think I really have a success story is that I have been through several years of therapy and have learned how to apply the lessons of emotional health and navigating depression and mindset to the leadership of teams.
My values statement is to live my life with intention, openness, and love so that leaders can help their followers to have fulfilling, happy, and empowered lives.
I left the corporate world and ventured full time into what had been a side hustle of coaching, speaking, and consulting on leadership development for almost 2 years. Now I own Perspective Shifting, LLC which is a consulting practice focused on compassionate leadership development for politicians, companies, business owners and even the individual.
Leadership development isn’t about developing a team leader, it’s about developing the human. Every human has complex emotions and thoughts that are never truly understood by those around them. Where we feel understood we find community, and where we do not we find isolation. When we become ourselves, we become leaders.
It is my mission to create a place where every leader can feel empowered to find the best version of themselves in all aspects. To seek the inner truth of their experiences and teach others to do the same. That is what the Perspective Shifters movement is about. It’s about building a community of people who challenge others to find solutions.
